it is not a code problem because i have tried a bunch of different layouts and none of them show up. it just looks like i dont have a layout at all.

u probably have a conflicting code...

like theres probably a code somewhere that say ur layout is like this and theres no way it'll change... unless u delete it...

try the layout on a different user name... like on ur friends or make a new one just to test out html codes...

after you paste the code in your profile, make sure you click on "save changes" at the top or bottom of the screen.
