Myspace layout prob?

Why when I cut %26amp; paste a new layout my old image is still in the background %26amp; the new layout in front but with a dotted line around it still and it's shifted to the left-there's empty space at the right-it looks crowded? I've tried different layouts 2. Mainly, how do u shift the right boxes TO the right?

Have you made sure you deleted all of the old stuff? Sometimes Myspace goofs up. It's kind of hard to help you out without seeing t.. Good Luck! =)

it's because you are using layouts other people coded for you... learn your css and you shouldn't have a problem

I know this sounds stupid, but you are deleting the old layout code, right? I'm not sure how to shift the boxes though. Good luck!

There is something called style sheets and the code is typically within a %26lt;style%26gt; .... blah blah %26lt;/style%26gt; tag

this defines where things are located on the screen, colors, text, etc.

Before you cut and paste your new layout code, you must delete the old layout code - otherwise you will get both layouts in one picture. Once the old code is deleted, then you can paste your new code and it should turn out right. Sorry, i have NO idea what you are talking about by shifting the boxes to the right. What boxes?

Go back and erase all of the codes and the click save. Check your profile to make sure the page grahics are clear. Once you are sure it's all gone, cut and paste the code for the new page. That should take care of that first problem. As far as shifting the boxes to the right, there is a way to do that but you have to know how to write html codes (which I don't), but there are a few sites out there that can help. and did you remove the %26lt;style%26gt; if you did thats what messed it up any more help get my site
